We’re searching for a passionate researcher to delve into the archives and continue uncovering the story of Villa Luginsland. From historical photographs and archival documents to forgotten narratives, artistic movements, and connections to Malta’s cultural and art history, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the preservation and interpretation of an important heritage site.
What you’ll do:
- Research the villa’s history through local and national archives
- Source, catalogue, and interpret historical photographs, documents, and visual material
- Explore the villa’s wider cultural and art historical context
- Compile and prepare findings for our website and digital archive
This position is good for:
- Recent graduates in History, Heritage Studies, Archaeology, Art History, or related fields
- Those who enjoy working with primary sources, archives, and historical material
- Anyone with a strong interest in Maltese history, heritage, and the visual arts
- Candidates with good research, writing, and organisational skills
